Refund policy
At THE BIKE LAB, we aim to provide clear and transparent rules regarding purchases and returns. Below you will find information concerning the right to withdraw from a distance contract.
1. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
A consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance contract without giving any reason within 14 calendar days from the day the product is received.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send a statement of withdrawal before the 14-day period expires.
2. HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN
You may notify us of your decision to withdraw from the contract in any clear and unambiguous form, in particular by:

3. RETURNING THE PRODUCT
After submitting your statement of withdrawal, the product must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days from the date of withdrawal.

The direct cost of returning the product to THE BIKE LAB is borne by the customer.
4. CONDITION OF RETURNED PRODUCTS
A consumer may inspect the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product to an extent similar to what would be possible in a physical retail store.
The consumer is responsible for any reduction in the value of the product resulting from handling it beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
5. REFUNDS
Refunds will be issued without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days from the day we receive the statement of withdrawal.
However, we may withhold the refund until we receive the returned product or until the customer provides proof that the product has been sent back, whichever occurs first.
The refund includes the price of the product and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the relevant order.
If the customer selected a more expensive delivery method than the least expensive standard option available in the store, the difference in delivery costs will not be refunded.
The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless the customer expressly agrees to another method that does not result in any additional cost to the customer.
6. AVAILABLE TO ORDER PRODUCTS
Products marked as Available to Order are ordered specifically for the customer after the order is placed.
The fact that a product is sourced or ordered after purchase does not in itself exclude the right of withdrawal.
The right of withdrawal may only be excluded in cases provided for by applicable law, in particular where the subject of the sale is a non-prefabricated item made to the customer's specifications or intended to meet the customer's individual needs.
7. PERSONALISED PRODUCTS AND INDIVIDUAL CONFIGURATIONS
The right of withdrawal does not apply to non-prefabricated products made to the customer's specifications or intended to meet the customer's individual needs.
This may include, for example, products manufactured or assembled according to an individually agreed configuration, where the product is made specifically in accordance with the specifications of a particular customer.
